Revisiting the Meme
After some thought, I have actually figured out my choices for this meme.
My super-team would be:
Mace Windu (Star Wars, of course)
Nick Fury (Marvel Movies)
Frozone (The Incredibles)
And that fellow from Snakes on a Plane, who's name escapes me at the moment. (IMDB provides: Neville Flynn)
(And for aquatic missions, the guy that was eaten by the shark. Because, well, you always need shark-food.)
It's a small team, but one cannot doubt it for sheer badassery.

This meme is all kinds of fun. I just had the idea of a team based on roles played by Dina Meyer, who is one of my favorite actors, obscure though she may be. This definitely has a sci-fi bent to it.
Oracle/Barbara Gordon (Birds of Prey TV series) - Obviously the team leader as well as the one who handles all the computer stuff.
Dizzy Flores (Starship Troopers) - The field leader because of her extreme badassery and crazy gung-ho strategy.
Commander Donatra (Star Trek: Nemesis) - If they're going to have a ship they need a captain. Being Romulan might make her chafe at taking orders, but she worked well with Picard so I think she could do so with Oracle.
Jane (Johnny Mnemonic) - For covert infiltration and on-site hacking under Oracle's guidance.
Add in Kara from Dragonheart for extra melee muscle and Detective Kerry from the Saw series for investigation and you've got a pretty good team.

Hmm... How about...
Galadriel, the elf witch-queen from the Lord of the Rings movies.
Colonel-Doctor Irina Spalko, the psychic KGB agent from that last Indian Jones movie.
Queen Elizabeth I from Elizabeth and the Golden Age.
And... um... Jane Winslett-Richardson, the reporter from The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou?
Go Team Cate Blanchett?

Your choice is an inspired one. I don't think anybody would mess with a group of Samuel L. Jacksons. Rather puts my humble counterproposal of A Bruce Campbell Strike Force to shame.

I went with Christian Bale myself.
