Urgent Question
So, okay, I haven't had time to do much of anything like seeing movies, but I've been DYING to know.
Is the GI Joe movie any good?
Or is it really bad to the point of being entertaining?
Because I kind of want to see it. (I like explosions, cartoonish violence, and I think Channing Tatum is hot, even if I'm never sure I've got his name in the right order because his parents apparently gave him a freaking surname for a first name.) I may finally have time to go.
I hate seeing movies blind though. So? Is it worth watching?

I dug it. It's big dumb fun, but it's GOOD big dumb fun. As opposed to Transformers 2, which was horrible big dumb fun.

Well, I've seen worse. Loud and dumb, but as opposed to Transformers, you can actually SEE what is going on (no shaky cam).

I agree. Dumb but entertaining. Even the embarrassing comedy character wasn't that embarrassing.

Unlike, say, Transformers, (1 or 2) it wasn't really actively offensive, so there's that. Honestly, it teeters somewhere between "silly, mildly entertaining, but still fun stupidity," and "so bad, it's kind of awesome."
