Is it actually less dreadful than the books? The books are pretty bad, but from the 30 seconds of that show I saw it's really bad.

Yeah, he convinced some of the pacifists to help him stab the other pacifists in the guts with pointy weapons that made them die slowly for reasons that were never particularly clear.

In all fairness, I should point out that the quotes in the site I linked ARE out of context. But context really doesn't save most of them.
They're terrible terrible books. :-)
