Aw.

Aw, this news makes me sad. I really do enjoy Johns's work on JSA. Even if the Kingdom Come arc probably could have been a bit shorter without losing much. (I tend to have that complaint a fair bit. :-))

It'll be interesting to see who they pick. And to see if they ever give my favorite character panel time. :-P

My guess is that this is what J. Michael Strazynski is working on! We'll see though.

Johns sucks and all Green Lantern books are dumb and you're..oh wait. Its Ragnell who wants people to yell at her. Never mind...

Good luck on all your finals!

Have you been picking up the JSA:KC one-shots? Sand had a pretty big role in the JSA: The Kingdom special, and Johns really seems to be pushing the idea of him as a rescuer of abducted children.

    And echoing Lurker, good luck.

Confirmation word: Sadite (definition: one who serves the King of Tears)

I'd kill to get Gail Simone on JSA, but her plate is probably pretty full.

I'd pick Mark Waid, personally. Maybe even James Robinson, even though his recent work on Superman has been scattershot.

Weirdly, I want to see Jim Shooter on JSA or else Paul Levitz, because they're the only two writers I know of who can handle a cast this large without reducing a lot of chars to spear-carrier status.

I didn't tune into John's JSA until it's Post-Crisis reboot, but I loved it then. The Gog storyline's made me lose a bit interest (it seems too steeped in "LOL KINGDOM COME" references), but the fact he's been working on this series for so long is admirable to me.
