Interesting, and sad. That video is simply awful. Amazing how much the endless media onslaught warps people, isn't it?
And while Kalinara may not enjoy Empowered, I'd certainly recommend it. The bondage and sex jokes won't be to everyone's tastes and it's definitely not for kids, but Warren's doing a great job of developing memorable characters and playing with superhero memes. His plotting's pretty tight too, and there's a lot of foreshadowing. Really an impressive effort so far, especially considering it's roots as an uncomfortable joke about some commissioned art work he did way back when.
Heck, the Caged Demonwolf's dialog alone makes the book worth reading.
