Hawkgirl is kind of a bitch...

I've been rereading JSA and I realized something. Sand and Hawkgirl in a relationship is a really creepy idea.

And not for the obvious reasons.

Well, okay for them too.

And Carter would make an absolute ass of himself anyway.

But still.

The NEW reason it's creepy is because well, she's awfully violent...

Take this panel from JSA 21:

and these from JSA 22:

I mean. Sure, she was under a lot of stress at the time, but you know, it's not a terribly good precedent to establish...

Just sayin'...

Well...really! If Sandy had hauled off and slugged her, because he was in a bit of anit, we'd all have gasped in horror. What makes it ok for a woman to smack a guy around, just because she's feeling a wee testy?

And he's such a nice boy!

wait a minute, are you saying it's wrong for a member of the Hawk family to hit someone? That's what they do!

I'm with David. This is what the Hawks do! Such a savage, barbarian race! (said with wink and a grin).

What does it say about Sand that he's attracted to a girl that likes to hit him? That he's White Goodman from Dodgeball, wanting to get "Super, freaky naughty"?

Well, Sand -is- a sort of punching bag, being full of sand and all.

You know, when it comes to the Hawks, Geoff Johns really creeps me out (he said, tearfully crinkling his Hawkworld collection).

Hey Kalinara, did you see the April Blue Beetle cover at Wizard's site? That's one of the greatest Guy Gardner covers ever.

I think hawkgirl is a bitch everytime, take DCAU - the justice league series for example.

Finally, someone with the same point of view! thanks a lot hey !:)
