Mmm hmm:
Yay. The solicits are up. Well I've only got one thing to say really. Maybe two.
Solicit Image Within, Beware
a) Dude. Why does he have a ceti eel crawling out of his head?
Though it would be really funny to have Hal scream out "Khaaaaaaaaaaaan!"
Well, it would to me. I *am* sleep deprived though.
2) It's good to see that Guy's penchant for getting horrifically, gratuitously injured seems to have survived intact.
At least he's not a Manhunter this time.

That cover frigg'n creeps the hell out of me!
And I've seen it three times this morning already.
I, too, love the Guy-getting-seriously injured thing. He should get punched out at least once an issue.

Hm...on Newsarama's version of that image, the eel-thing is yellow. This one looks like there's more variation to the colors, though.

I noticed the same thing, Tom. My immediate thought was: TINY PARALLAX!!

Poor Guy, I DO hope he's not in another coma. Cool art though. That's a lot of blood! But a very very cool cover.

brandon: It's just the proper way of things!
tom: I found this one here. (Well. Ragnell did, actually). I prefer it to the yellow.
diamondrock: :-) Maybe. I don't think Parallax was much for literal head-diving though.
sallyp: Aww, he'll get back up...eventually.

Strangely, what creeps me out more than the eel itself is that Guy's eyes are covered by snow. There's something eerie about not being able to see somebody's eyes.

Loren,
Funny you should say that. I was just looking at it again, and you are quite right...not seeing his eyes makes it much more...disturbing.

Well, if his eyes were closed, you'd think he'd passed out. If they were open, you'd think he was dead.
If you can't see his eyes, you don't know what to think!
