Non-Comic Post

In a very rare non-comic related post: I finally was able to see the new Doctor Who special, the Christmas Invasion. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Makes it incredibly frustrating that the new episodes won't start until the spring.

I really have to thank the British fans who were so prompt in getting the episode uploaded to the internet. What frustrates me the most is that the Sci-Fi channel won't pick this up.
But if they did, that would be one less hour that they could show endless
    Stargate repeats.

Oh gods, yes. I like Stargate (well Atlantis anyway) and Battlestar Galactica well enough, but I think if they put the Doctor on just after, or in place of SG-1 (which I genuinely think has lasted just a bit too long), it'd be great.

Not to mention that Eccleston's run as the 9th Doctor is pretty much an ideal place to start off new viewers. (Then maybe they could start running some old episodes! Yay!) They did really well in explaining what needed to be explained in a way that the older fans didn't get bored or frustrated.

Yeah I never liked Doctor Who, Stargate, some of the new Galactica is ok though.

Then again I'm more of a Flash Gordon/Adam Strange kind of guy when it comes to my Sci-fi. Otherwise I'm only a demons and hellfire kinda guy.
