Best Crossover Pairing Ever
It's occurred to me, that the most awesome crossover pairing ever would be...
Amanda Waller and Nick Fury.
I'm not sure how exactly it would work, and it might very well destroy the multiverse in the process, but it would entertain the crap out of me.
Also, there might be LMD Amanda Wallers. And that would be kind of awesome.

Well, here's the thing. Books featuring Amanda aren't selling that well. Suicide Squad is... well, I shudder to even talk about it. And that's a miniseries! So there's less than zero financial incentive for a pairing like this. Buy more books featuring Amanda and give DC incentive...

Well, honestly, Elayne, given the whole vocal policy about no Marvel/DC crossovers, I think there are more obstacles than just the paltry sales of Suicide Squad in the path of my ideal couple.

Clearly this is where the black Ultimate Nick Fury came from. WW2 white Nick Fury hooked up with Amanda Waller and had a son.

Ooh. The mere idea of this is excessively AWESOME.
Plus, I think a nice vacation to the Marvel U would be good for Waller after what went down with her in Checkmate.

*Awesome*. Zinda Blake can introduce them! (I am convinced that the Blackhawks and the Howling Commandos went on at least one wacky multiversal adventure in WWII, after which the Howling Commandos spent a year bugging Nick about why *they* didn't have a cute girl Howling Commando in a skirt.)
