Miscellaneous Thought
You know what I love in comics? Dinosaurs. There's nothing more quintessential to superhero comics than the sudden appearance and thwarting of giant dinosaurs. Be the reason time travel, a long lost jungle, an animated dinosaur skeleton or anything like that.
I just <3 dinosaurs.
(No real post today, I just felt like saying that. :-))

Then you should get Cable/Deadpool #50 when it comes out next month! Dinosaurs on the loose in New York City! Dinosaurs covered with Venom symbiotes no less! Only in comics, I tells ya!

Yes, dinosaurs are very cool. Do you think there was a noticeable increase in the use of dinosaurs in comics around the time Jurassic Park was released in theaters?

Dinosaurs are nice. I also enjoy talking apes, Nazis and Hostess Fruit pies. Put them ALL together, and you either have an unholy mess...or the greatest comic ever!

Devil Dinosaur is the best, of course. Few Dinosaurs can manage international terrorist rings.

Medium Raggirl got dinosaurs for her birthday, but they came with cave people. Very ahistoric.
To overcome the obstacle, we have combined the dinosaur game with the rocket ship game, so that the astronauts travel to a planet where people and dinosaurs co-exist.
And, yes, sometimes they are robot space dinosaurs, which is always a fun twist.

In Love and Rockets# 15, Jaime Hernandez managed a panel that included dinosaurs, an exploding rocket (with a painted giant robot face), a last minute rescue by helicopter, Maggie without her pants (shrieking, “Eek! Somebody turn the page! You can see my panties!”) and Rand Race exclaiming "Wow! Now that's what comics are made of!"

Dinosaurs are great! I used to collect dinosaur information books when I was a kid and wanted to be a paleontologist from ages 2 to 14. Adding dinosaurs to a comic will ALWAYS improve said comic. It's one of the laws of the universe.
