Supergirl in Smallville?
So, there's going to be a Supergirl on Smallville.
God. I'm torn! On one hand, I really really don't like Smallville. I don't like their take on Clark. I don't like their Lex. I don't like their Lana. I do kind of dig their Lois, but that's not really enough.
On the other hand, I thought the Oliver Queen and Justice League type episodes that my roommate made me watch were actually fun. I liked them a lot. (Too bad the rest of the episodes were back to making me twitch.)
...so this could be really bad. Or really good. But really, since it's Kara... I kind of have to give it a shot.
Should be interesting at least. Especially once we know who they cast...

I've learned that the show is actually quite decent, except for most of the writing and the guy who plays Clark. That leaves the enjoyable parts of the show everywhere else but who the show is supposedly about.
When Oliver Queen shows up acting like Batman, and you start to hope they bring in other characters from the DC Universe, you know something is wrong with the title character. I'm sorry, but I like my Superman angst free. Confused and naive, sure, but he's not Bruce.
Then again, I watch it when a friend at work (who watches it to see how funny it becomes) tells me that a decent episode is airing.

I am a little annoyed by Smallville's inability to not bring in fanservice elements tho, b/c this is about Superman becoming Superman, not that he alrdy is and is alrdy fighting Bizarro, and Zod and stuff :\
The producers swore up and down this wouldn't be about a Superboy. :\
:O
But if they can make it just as fun as the Justice League episode, or the Green Arrow ones, I wun complain! :D
I hope she IS 8 tho and NOT a teenager (cuz that would make NO sense age wise, but then again Jimmy is older than Clark >.>) just b/c if she is a teenager, I feel a rly bad "omg I'm a hot blonde character for boys" coming on :(

She's a "teen". They've already said she was a teen when Krypton blew up, and she's going to have been in suspended animation all this time-so Clark "caught up".
