Snapper Carr Appreciation Week, Day Two!
This was going to be a more interesting post, but I've got a bit of a deadline to work with, so that post will have to wait. Instead, I've got a short reason to like Snapper:
He loves his kitty! (For the record, the kitty got injured during an attack by Amazo. It was very sad!)
Even better? The cat's name is... Starro!
(I'm also not sure who's logo he's wearing this time. It looks like the symbol for Jupiter, I think. The one that looks like an unconnected four. Anyone know that reference?)

Gah! That is one mangled cat! Three casts, and all he is giving it is DRY cat food? It will probably try to smother him while he's asleep.
Still...at least he's not snapping his fingers. THAT'S why they cut off his hands!

Thanks for the Snapper Appreciation. I loved him in HOURMAN, and miss both him and Tyler.
Tyler the Android Hourman had charm and character. Rick "Rex Jr." Tyler has never really managed... a personality. Not in Infinity, Inc.; not in his decade or so in a cancer ward, and not in the current JSA.
A goodly part of his charm was Snapper, though, who was arguably the title's actual protagonist.

I think that the symbol you're trying to place is for Tin of the Metal Men

I'm just glad that he's no longer wearing those ludicrous cut-offs from the last post. Yikes!

sally: basically yep And the man keeps snapping. That's spirit, man.
serpent: I agree. I really liked Snapper's role as sidekick/mentor, it allowed him a lot of growth.
dan: If I can track down issues. Otherwise it'll be mostly Hourman and Young Justice. :-)
jay: Heh

Sallyp - I dunno - if the poor thing's hurt enough to be off his food, you don't want the wet food to get bad on him... :(
Jupiter symbol is Fantastic Four, isn't it?
