So three years after my last post (don't worry, my tumblr's going fine), I figured I'd drop a little line here about my book review blog: "I Read WHAT?!".
It's basically just chapter by chapter reviews of books I vaguely remember reading as a child/teenager.
I'm not sure anyone still looks at this page, but hey, why not, right?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI do look at this page to link to your tumblr. Since reading your regular posts was one of the blogs that inspired me to start my own, I look forward to the reviews.
Thanx for posting it here.
wow i still have this on my rss
ReplyDeletewow i still have a rss
That was my reaction to remembering I still had this blog.
ReplyDeleteAw shucks, another dead blog from the old days. Fell out of the habit of reading during a bout of homelessness, and only here now because I was binging some ancient Absorbascon posts and was reminded of your existence.
ReplyDeleteAh well, life goes on.
Not completely dead, just mostly migrated elsewhere. Good to see you again! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey there! I just stumbled upon your book review blog, "I Read WHAT?!", and I have to say, it's a delightful trip down memory lane. Your chapter-by-chapter reviews of books from your childhood and teenage years are not only nostalgic but also incredibly engaging. It's like revisiting old friends through your eyes. Even if you think no one's looking, know that I'm definitely enjoying the read. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for writiing this
ReplyDeleteI’m so glad you popped back in to share this! “I Read WHAT?!” is such a perfect name for revisiting those half-remembered childhood and teenage reads — there’s something so entertaining about looking back at books we once loved (or were mildly traumatized by) with adult eyes. Chapter-by-chapter reviews sound like a fun deep dive, especially when nostalgia and reality don’t quite match up. Even if this space has been quiet, I’m really happy you updated — now I’m curious to see which old favorites hold up and which ones make you say… wait, I read WHAT?!
